SoulField Terms of Service

1. Eligibility (18 and Over Only)

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is intended only for adults. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete associated data.

2. Description of the Service

SoulField is a daily adaptive content application. It generates personalized written content for you, including letters, questions, reflections, and small suggested actions, expressed in the voice of a "Future Self" persona. This content is produced from your own words: the vision text you provide during onboarding, your daily responses, and any reflections you choose to share. The Service is a self-reflection and personal-growth experience. It is informational and reflective in nature.

3. The Service Is Not Therapy or Medical Care

SoulField is not a healthcare, mental-health, medical, psychological, counseling, coaching, or crisis service, and it is not a substitute for any of these. The "Future Self" persona is not a therapist, counselor, doctor, psychologist, coach, or licensed professional, and nothing it generates should be understood as professional advice or treatment. The content is generated automatically and is for personal reflection only. Nothing in the Service creates a therapeutic, medical, or professional relationship between you and SoulField. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical or mental-health condition. If you are experiencing an emergency, see Section 9.

4. The Service Uses Artificial Intelligence

The content you receive in SoulField is generated by artificial intelligence. The "Future Self" is an AI-generated persona, not a real person and not a human being. You are not communicating with a human. The content is produced by automated systems using large language model technology, including services provided by a third-party AI provider. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for how you choose to interpret and act on it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not: use the Service if you are under 18; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its security or access-control systems; attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models, prompts, or source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by law; use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or submit content that infringes the rights of others; misuse or attempt to circumvent the safety features described in Section 9; use automated means to access or scrape the Service without our permission; or resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this Section.

6. Your Content and Intellectual Property

Your content. You retain ownership of the text you submit, including your vision, your daily responses, and your reflections ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to use, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including generating your personalized content and processing it through our third-party AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

Generated content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content the Service generates for you, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Our materials. The Service itself, including its software, design, the "Future Self" persona, prompts, templates, text, and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for any purpose. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will SoulField or its owners, operators, employees, contractors, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or emotional or psychological harm, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Safety Boundary: The Service Is Not an Emergency Service

SoulField is not an emergency service, a crisis service, or a suicide-prevention or safety hotline. It cannot and does not provide emergency help. The Service includes an automated feature that scans the text you submit and, when it detects language that may suggest distress or self-harm, pauses its usual content and instead shows information about crisis resources. This feature is an automated content boundary only. It is not monitored by a human in real time, it is not a clinical or emergency response, and it may not detect every situation.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice within the Service or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law
